Spring, are you there?

This is a sponsored post.
When you live in the midwest, you ALWAYS look forward to spring. As soon as the snow melts, we ask: “Spring, are you there?”
There are some who set goals for the new year, however, our body’s don’t allow us to do that! Yes, I said it, “Our body’s don’t allow us to set new year goals!” I’ll put it like this: We may set goals for the new year, but some honestly aren’t that motivated to go out and achieve them, quite yet.
Although the winter season provides us with the sun, the cold weather and snow can be draining.  There’s not much I can do during that time except prepare myself for the spring: put together cute outfits, get my shoe game together, and ACCESSORIZE!
As Coco Chanel put it: “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and remove one accessory.“
BUT…what if you had that one piece that added so much flair, elegance, and gave your outfit the feeling of completion, would you want to know more?
I have been given the opportunity to review a watch from JORD and I literally could not be any happier. I am VERY particular when it comes to any type of accessory and when I received my JORD watch in the mail, I was amazed.
Before receiving the watch, I did some research and one thing that I read was that its wood. and I was like, “Okay, that’s awesome. I haven’t owned a wooden watch before!”  I was actually kind of be scared to purchase a wooden watch with the fear of horrible craftsmanship, however, JORD proved me wrong.
With fear of getting it ruined, I don’t even know if I want to wear the watch! You know how you have one piece you cherish so much, that you don’t even want to wear to, that’s literally how I’m feeling with this watch.
The packaging is so perfect that I just want to leave the watch in there and show it off through pictures: Who needs the time when you have beautiful pictures to show off your watch??

What type of JORD watch did I get?

I ordered from the Reece Series: Walnut and Navy. The reason I chose this type because, as stated on the website, it’s muted and modern.  Despite how much I enjoy accessorizing, I  like to keep to simple.  To go back to Coco Chanel’s quote, you don’t have to worry about removing an accessory when you keep your accessories simple.  The more simple, the more options!  Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with a watch that has a lot of design to it.  However, coming from the perspective of “how can I style this watch,” I can literally find an abundance of outfits to wear with it.

How can you get a JORD watch?

What are you waiting for? Ask yourself this: what’s the worst that can happen?  The awesome part of JORD is that their timepieces are MORE than just a watch.  You can purchase a watch from anywhere, but you aren’t guaranteed a story behind it.

The JORD timepieces tell a story that encourages people to want to ask. As I stated earlier, to find out that it was a wooden watch really changed my perspective.  The designs may be common, but the material and story behind help a JORD timepiece stand out.

Let me know in the comments your thoughts on such a “timeless” timepiece.

Until next time,
