Sunday Vibes: Is this Spring?

Spring is in the air, or is it?  We were able to enjoy days that made it to as high as 60 degrees, but then we are surprised by this…

Before we get into the post, these pics were taken over a month ago! So I don’t want anyone to assume that it snowed this much, recently.  However, it did snow this past Thursday, so…let’s get back into this post:

I had enjoyed the church service and ended up recording a dance video for my friend. Then, I get word that it is snowing outside.  My first thought was, “It shouldn’t be that much, probably just flurries!” Little did I know, when I walked out to my car, it was COVERED in snow!

It literally looked like a winter wonderland outside.I had to laugh it off because while driving to church that morning, despite the fact the weather wasn’t “spring,” I was thankful that there was no snow on the ground. I always say it, but I would rather it be cold and no snow than snow, at all!  If you have driven in snow before, then you understand my dislike for it.

With all that being said, no, my outfit was not inspired by the surprise snowfall, rather inspired by the music artist, Yuna, at Kuala Lumpar Fashion week.  I didn’t match the outfit to its entirety, but I certainly gravitated towards the “All Black” look.

I’ve had this outfit in mind for literally months, but I’m glad I waited until this day to finally pull it off!  The fur coat, gloves, head scarf, I won’t complain, I was warm! Sadly, the snow was coming down so much that it was hard to capture a clear image of my outfit! I guess I could’ve taken a picture inside, but why not show you how much was actually coming down!

I only know where a few of the items of my outfit are from: the headscarf, blazer, gloves, and heels are from Urban Outfitters, and I got the fur coat while thrifting.  I honestly didn’t realize that more than 50% of my outfit was from Urban Outfitters…hmmm once upon a time, I guess I was obsessed with them!

What store are you currently obsessed with?

P.S. Yes, I was jumping in the snow with my heels on. Lol

Until next time,
